Steve Lewington speaks about his released from the WWE in the Steve Speaks section of DJ-Gabriel.com. Click Read more at the bottom to read the blog in its entirety.
The word has spread so I wanted to take the time to update and blog to all of you. My tenure within the WWE is no more. I was with the company for almost five years and enjoyed every minute of it. I was honored to be with the largest professional wrestling company in the world from start to finish.

Although my tenure within the WWE is now over, I won't get depressed over it. I'll be the first to admit that I knew it was coming sooner rather than later. I didn't know when, but I knew it was getting closer. Today starts a new chapter in my life and in my career. I'm not going to look back, complain, and berate the WWE because I have nothing but good things to say about them. They gave me an opportunity to live in the spotlight, and whether whatever character I portrayed or how long it lasted, I still got that opportunity.

Steve updated his official MySpace profile this morning with four new candids and a status update. You can view the four new Tagged Photos from Steve's profile with the above link. Steve's new status and mood can be read below in reguards to his release from the WWE yesterday.
After nearly 5 years, I am free once again...

Mood: hopeful
As for the site, I do plan on getting a fresh new look for the site, since Steve is no longer known as Gabriel. Be on the look out for that. I would say in the coming month or so. I have a particular designer in mind.
Steve Released!

I am truely shocked by the WWE's decision to release Steve. Steve was well on his way of becoming the new FCW Champion in my opinion. As for the site, I have no plans on going anywhere. I will still continue to support Steve in any decision he makes. Their are plently of other wrestling promotions looking for awesome wrestling talent, which Steve has...prehaps TNA. Keep your eyes posted to the site as more information becomes available. In the end, it is the WWE's lost; Steve is one hell of an athlete!
World Wrestling Entertainment released former ECW brand star Steve "DJ Gabriel" Lewington today. After his dancing duo with Alicia Fox was split up and she headed to Raw, Lewington had been down in WWE developmental in FCW for some time.

There may have been some other releases from developmental today but I haven't 100% confirmed that yet.
